Sharon's Introduction

Introduction

Before we begin, I just want to say that I am not a trained psychologist and I make no claims about mental, physical or emotional health.

I am an artist who wants to share her personal experience in the hopes it benefits others.

If it’s true we teach that which we need to learn, then I am here to share with you my intention to “Let Go” of unwanted feelings, thoughts, relationships and physical limitations. I choose to connect to the aspect of me that is vibrant, youthful and not clinging to conditions. Easier said than done, right? So let’s clear out what’s not serving us.

I’m at the point right now were I am making a big transition in my life to letting go after 33 years as a college educator. I want to offer workshops about art and personal growth. I am also redefining the kind of art I am making. I no longer need to create illustrations as examples for my student’s lessons. I am open to expressing my individualality. Taking on this new role as an creatively fit coach and artist requires some letting go

I need to let go of the need to control, of judgements, of being fearful to name a few of what is coming up for me right now.

I’m not naive in thinking that things should stay the same. Change is inevitable, but the process does require introspection. Because I don’t want to go it alone, I am offering  this class to others to join with me.

Together let’s release what no longer serves us and make space for the new energy in our future.
